Hi,

first congrats that the MX51 Smartbook finally becomes available! :)
If you consider that the Freescale announcement for these devices was in January 09... was a long wait.

Sadly the Shop Website lacks a lot of crucial Infos... e.g.

1. Display resolution is 1024x600, right?
2. Wifi is 802.11g or n? Website says g, but the normal EFIKA MX Nettop has n... Chipset?
3. Battery Capacity / Estimated runtime (yes I know I know Software is Beta - but a little preliminary info maybe ;-) )
4. Webcam Resolution
5. Does it have an accessible Serial Port somewhere for debug console? Maybe with the Efika MX debug Board :)
6. Integrated Microphone?
7. Phone jack for headset - does this mean line in and out or only out?
8. Scope of delivery...

Cheers,
SlyD

PS:
I also read somewhere that you wanted to integrate 3G and GPS or is this only possible via USB right now?

A version with a built-in 3G modem (up to 7.2 Mpbs down / 3.6 Mbps up) will become available later.

Will that one have WLAN as well, or does the 3G *replace* that?

Will a high-capacity battery be available for the smartbook?
BTW, I've also just placed an order for one. Start of a new (ARM) era for me!
