Hi
After almost 2 years of none linux use i finally decided to get the old linux hdd out of the box and into my Pegasos 2.
Because i did some upgrades the last years i used up both my ide pluggs on the first ide port.
So my only option was to put it one the second ide port , last plugg as slave after my dvd.

I installed the newest debian from the vmlinuz-chrp.initrd (netinstall).
Choose my hdd and made the partisions , "/" First as EXT3 and bootable then Swap.
Finished that and installed my linux as choose not to use ther Grub Boot loader.

Done, Rebooted and tried to list my /pci/ide/disk@1,1 it found EXT and the swap area.
but when trying to do so one the EXT3 drive i get the error that its not there, when doing list again on the swap it gets no error or any response.

plz help anyone and everyone =)

AFAIR, Lenny also uses larger than 128 byte inode sizes, while the firmware only can work with 128 byte inodes. Workaround: format partitions before installation with:
Code:
-I 128
mke2fs parameter.
