you may need to be using a .forth file - I have to here, but unfortunately, the Efika isn't in an easy spot for me to get to it (the closest switch to it is full, and wireless on my roommate's home network is spotty at best (actually, its fine, i just can't ssh into any box on the wireless)

If I get the chance soon to boot it up, I'll grab the file for you - the issue that I have is that I can't seem to get it to run automatically like some people do, so *any* time I boot mine, I have to run that script otherwise I don't get audio.

here what you need to have a sound enabled efika with linux-2.6.33 kernel.

There is also my own kernel config thus tune it for your needs.

I finished kompile new egg using your config

I haven't used efika.forth yet

At start I checked what will happen when I connect AVT 414 to usb port(I need that kit for my work)

earlier at 2.6.19 when I did that efika find and add device /dev/ttyUSB0

now at 2.6.33 efika don't recognize this device, I don't have /dev/ttyUSB0 or eny similar and I can't communicate with AVT

Is it possible that I need install efika.forth? or I miss something in kernel?

You may need something from efika.forth and you may also need to make sure you have enabled USB Serial adapters of the correct type..
