I had to implement it for Eigen2 -which btw, passes all tests now and I should have some benchmarks soon. Plus, Eigen2 is now used in Krita and Koffice2 alpha, which means some filters in image manipulation in Krita will be AltiVec optimised from the start, which I think is a first for any image processing app in Linux (with a GUI at least) :D

Interesting article, thank you. I will have to do something similar for high-precision audio filters, but I will need a full 64-bit result.
