Hi!

Not sure if it helps, but you could try to remove the e2fsprogs package with:

dpkg -r e2fsprogs

alternatively you could add an --force-depends, but it'll open BIIG dependencies...

If you can't "-r" it maybe -p (not sure, you should check "dpkg -help" for purge)
which should delete all cfgs related to the e2fsprogs).

When finally done don't forget to install the new version over it...

No guarantee to above instrs.., probably a debian-pro has a better solution :)

cheers

Hi!

Bad luck it didn't help...

What is the output from

dpkg -r e2fsprogs ?

Did you try purge or --force-depends?

Maybe e2fsprogs is not configured properly:

you could f.e. try to "dselect" and "configure unconfigured packages" within...

Good luck!

ps: MOL very likely also works under Suse, but I haven't tested..
