| Post subject: | cant get sound to work in debian |
I dont know why but ive installed debian. For some reason soudn is not working. i get the error "while initializing the sound driver: Device /dev/dsp can't be opend (no such file or directory). the sound driver will continue using the null output device. this is on a peg2 g4 any help be much appreciated |

Do you have the module snd-pcm-oss loaded? |
