Hey Folks,

Just wanted to drop a link to my latest post here -> http://jeffhoogland.blogspot.com/2012/0 ... e-for.html

I'm really happy with the state of functionality Bodhi ARM now has on the Genesi hardware. All the minor (and major) annoyances have pretty much been eradicated.

The Bodhi AppCenter works by default in this release (via Ice Weasel). The web back end itself is still being worked on to make it more multi-arch friendly (right now a few of the apps are x86 only still) - but progress on that will keep happening over time.

Hope yall enjoy - can't wait for the next generation Genesi hardware to hit the shelves :D

~Jeff

That is great news, Jeff :) We have added the release candidate to the Efika MX Community Software page here on PowerDeveloper.

I have Bodhi release candidate installed on my Genesi Smartbook and everything works well except I have questions how to get C-Span videos or Google Video Chat working. Bodhi Linux runs faster because the software is more efficient. I think this will be a real game changer- especially when the new i.MX6 Smartbook arrives.
