Has anyone managed to get video chat working in Pidgin on armhf? I was trying to use Pidgin on my Smartbook to call the GTalk video plugin on a Windows machine, but it always failed with "unknown error[s]". I noticed, though, that it even failed if I just tried to start an audio-only chat.

I've verified via gst-inspect that I have h264enc/x264dec plugins installed and available, along with Theora and Speex plugins. I've verified via `gst-launch v4l2src ! xvimagesink` that gstreamer can open a video stream using the webcam. I'm not sure how to test the audio, though.

Does anyone have any hints?

Nope, I've been a bit swamped lately so I haven't had time to dig into it some more. What did you do to get the video working?
