Hi,

I want to do some test series because of my gigabit-problem.
So I started out to compile the kernel supplied with debian4.0.

Using the config from /boot/ everything compiles well.
( I use make zImage; make modules; make modules_install)

Unfortunately this Image boots and doesn't find the IDE-drives.... but the supplied binary kernel does.
How do I clone this one ? Why does the configfile not work ?
