The new version (V1.5) of the Pegasos book is available at WikiPeg in English and French languages.

This version includes big updates on Pegasos and MorphOS chapters (installation, ambient, network, software dev), also as new chapters (processor card, ODW, MorphUP, MOSNet).

Now, the Pegasos book can also be downloaded as a MorphUP package in the various available languages :

Thanks, very nice work! This is only good installation guide for MorphOS I found, so I could install it on my Peg!

When do you plan the next version? SUSE Linux 10.1 will arrive mid April. Installation is significantly enhanced since previous version. I started a 10.1 specific instllation guide for Pegasos available at http://en.opensuse.org/PegasosQuickStart Could you take a look at it?

OK, I can help you with the English version. I guess, for your purposes it will need some shortening. It will be shorter later on, now it contains a number of extra paragraphs describing workarounds for bugs in the beta release. These will hopefully disappear within a few days

I checked it with the previous beta (beta6), and then it worked. It's a bit slow, and has some bugs, but it is a very nice eyecandy. Xgl developers are employed by SUSE (Novell), so there are binary packages available for both SUSE Linux 10.0 and 10.1 betas.

Do you think that it would be possible to modify the current tutorial (V10.0) which is in Peg book to minimize
translation work ?
For now, I've made a version / month (except last one - I skipped February because of lack of time)
Now, I think the next one will be in may/april... Don't know yet.
The problem is that I'm doing the french version in // which makes me a lot of work.
I'm also waiting for a new UAE tutorial and also for a tutorial explaining how to make a LiveCD (by frostwork).

About your doc :
I will have a look at it ASAP as it seems quite detailed (I'm less busy on week ends)...

well, I think I will try to make it work on my Suse 10.0 if it's possible.

A fresh copy of 'factory', the constantly evolving version of SUSE Linux is just downloading now. It should have a number of smaller and also a big fix for Pegasos. When it's installed, I will update my guide and see how much change your version needs.

I just installed 'factory', and I can throw out the part about the Marvell ethernet interface. It works fine now, so one is not restricted to use VIA Rhine!

Yes, I'm sure. It's about SUSE Linux 10.1 factory as of today. Gigabit ethernet is finally fully supported, so I can remove a lot of 'workarounds' and 'notes' like parts from the above mentioned SUSE installation guide.
