A new english version of the Pegasos book has been released. The document is now 151 pages. Only the UAE part is not translated yet. For the MorphOS section, this version includes a tutorial for compiling CVS Ambient and updates on memories and HD installation. For the Linux section, this version includes a tutorial for installing KDE and Enlightenment E17 on Linux Ubuntu 5.10, and a tutorial for installing Linux Suse 10.0. A new section containing information about LiveCDs has also been created (AROS, Freevo...) I thought i was supposed to check the translation before you post it ! @bbrv once it's gonna be mature enough, what about releasing it as a real book ? on Genesi Press ? Open Source Book ! |

Hi SoundSquare ! Sorry but I thought you were waiting V1.3beta to be published before reading... Sorry for the misunderstanding. I've just sent you an email for you to get an editable version For the "paper book", As you & bbrv say we have to wait for a stable version (not easy as things are always moving in computer science), but that would be nice ! |

@bbrv great ! that would be a valuable addon to the ODW documentation ! @Geoffrey this book will never be "finished" as we'll always have more to add into it, but it would be still great to publish a "snapshot" of it once in a while It still needs work untill we reach a good snapshot though. |
