NatAmi ? :)
8) ...Natami on ColdFire would need two efforts:
-a CF-clean Kickstart - we discussed this in the
Natami team already: a patched UAE can be used
to protcoll all the code, that would fail on CF.

Gunnar suggested to then use the disassembler
IDA/IDA-pro (sorry this is on M$-Win) on the
address-list to disassemble
the ROM, because it will follow the codetree
from a given address. Assembling the code back
and getting a CF-fix to the OS3 ROM would be
a major step for Coldfire migration. One alternative
might of course be a kickrom built with AROS
code, but I have no insight ATM, how far the
AROS project has advanced.

-The 2nd step is to catch all unknown instruction
traps and emulate them, to get all the applications
working.

Post subject:  Project useful in relation to the Coldfire

I can think of two useful projects in regards of the Coldfire:

A) Create a Coldfire UAE Version.
UAE can be used as powerful tool for debugging.
Bringing out UAE version that can be switch to a Coldfire mode will be very helpful for Coldfire debugging and it will allow additional developers without access to Coldfire to use it for testing debugging.

B) Create a Coldfire 68-Jit compiler.
As you know for the Coldfire exists the 68k-emul-library.
Having a JIT 68ktoColdfire compiler will be great addition to it.

We will have boards later this week. We need to get the Developer Program open. It will be limited to 20 Developers initially.
