Short report... It seems thus far that Google will manage the Open Handset Alliance hardware as Intel does with OEMs. Texas Instruments will certainly have a platform. We may even see the Freescale i.MX folks develop something *for* a customer (vs. themselves -- which we feel they should do to see growth). But, that said, we are not sure being a low cost provider is an enviable position. At this point we rather make something different, but the opportunity is immense and we are still investigating...
