Post subject: Fedora Core 6 on Efika

Hi !

I would like to know if somebody succeded into installing Fedora Core 6 on an Efika ?
This distribution was the easier to install I've been trying on Pegasos so I wonder if it also works fine on Efika.

Anyway, I'm going to check that very soon and only wanted to know if I was the first one...

The Efika is not supported in FC6.
Fedora Core 7 test4 (6.93) release notes say this-
Quote:

Genesi Efika. At the time of writing, the firmware of the Efika has bugs which prevent correct operation of the yaboot bootloader. An updated firmware should be available by April 2007, in advance of the release of Fedora 7. With a fixed firmware, installation on Efika should be the same as on Pegasos II.

Hi !
As it was possible to run FC6 on a Pegasos, isn't that possible to install it on the Efika, and then rebuild a kernel with Efika drivers ? Anyway, I'll wait for FC7 and the new Efika firmware.
