Hi all,

It's time to get a new version of the niktarix live cd out.
I was waiting for the transition of KDE, gcc 4.0, x.org, etc to complete, but it seems it will take a little while until etch will get into shape, so I will build on sid until that is done.
These are some of the things I want to do:
First of all niktarix will have to get it's own website. I am doing some planning on what to include, the way it should look like, etc.
After the new version I hope to build to complete integrated livecd series for the pegasos platform for different tasks
The first will be an altivec enabled version
I have talked to konstantinos about this and he agreed to make one which will include his work.
Other examples are:
A USB version
A DVD version with Games
A lite/buisness card version
A skolelinux version

I would love to hear your ideas about what you would like to see in the future from niktarix,

Regards
Nick Niktaris

Glad you brought this up =). One feature I think woudl be really cool. Is to have it similar to morphix where it gives you the option to install the cd to hardrive. THis allows a really easy installtion for those new to linux. I use it all the time on x86 pcs.
