According to this article (don't know whether it's true, if the source is any good), Freescale lay off 150-200 engineers from the i.MX engineering teams. i.MX6 is supposed to be finnished before this year ends and should not be in any danger by this, but the article claims that the future i.MX7, that supposedly is 1+ year along in development, is simply being put on ice (or at least being heavily delayed) since that project lost, well, everyone.
