On computeable i read a test on thin client hardware for running citrix. I am missing efika-mx there, or arm/omap for that matter.

http://www.computable.nl/artikel/ict_to ... n-dom.html and http://www.computable.nl/artikel/ict_to ... eller.html
both are in the dutch language.

I read here the efika-mx is more then capeable to that and better, but where is marketing buzz? Or has not that reached europe yet?

The final production version of the Efika MX (which is built using the TO3 version of the i.MX51, and will be the version going to mass production) hasn't been released yet. According to a post by BBRV it should begin shipping by 21st of May. That will also mean a premiere for the new AURA firmware in an end-user product. It will move to mass production during this summer.

By then you will hopefully see some "marketing buzz"! ;-)

The date has shifted to the first week of June. We needed to make the final call with respect to the VGA output. We decided against VGA, because the VGA chip being used makes it very difficult if not impossible to auto-detect the resolution of the customer's monitor. There are also other issues.

This situation led to a decision to also offer an Efika MX bundle that includes monitor, keyboard/mouse and HDMI cable.

R&B :)
