What makes touchco and wacom make special is that their techonogies are pressure sensitive. Touchco is ahead of wacom as they made multitouch pressure sensitive. Touch and multitouch are not that special as you show in your movie, making it pressure sensitive however is.

More touch features is not going to make the iPad any more "special".

So, the iPad is definitely not for me (who started computing life with a 2.5 Mhz (!) IBM XT and a Hercules monitor), once available this machine will much better suit my needs: http://www.genesi-usa.com/products/smartbook A development version of this smartbook is already on my desk, so I know that it is fantastic :)
