Thanks aaron and corpsicle :)

I'm really just maintaining MOL right now, thank Samuel for all of his work on MOL. 3D Acceleration is quite a bit harder than it seems, we would probably have to write a custom video driver for OSX from scratch in order to do it. There was some talk of potentially using OpenGL overlays, but not much came of it. It's a difficult problem unfortunately. Right now, MOL-wise, I'm currently working on adding support for compressed disk images.

Hi! :)

@p_welle:

Sorry missed your question before...
Unfortunately I can't help you much with this, as I'm a complete
network-newbie... :(
I only can tell that dhcp stuff is installed in the mol-data file...

@JoseJX:

REALLY GREAT to see you here!!!
Thanks a lot for your hard work on mol!
I guess I have every kernel-option integrated which is required, but maybe
I really should check the ebuild :)

i have two questions/suggestions:

Is it possible to autodetect_scsi with ide-cd without configuring the
cd/dvd-devices as blkdev: line?
Is USB2.0 supposed to work in high-speed under mol?

>3D:

No idea if it makes any sense or makes things easier, but would it
be possible to use a directfb-3d api for mol somehow?....

cheers
Frostwork

Hello Jose

Glad to hear that the MOL development will continue. I'm on the ML and know that Samuel bowed out.. Great to hear you took the lead on it. :D

Sven Luther (the debian ppc guru) had a few discussions with Samuel about getting 3d to work with mol. IIRC. Aparently he has a few theories on this and it may help to talk to him about this as well.

magnetic

ps. Frostwork: after adding the gateway line in the script and manually entering the DNS server numbers molk networking works now! yay Great job as usual. :lol:

Hi,

I want to share my iTunes library from my PowerMac and Pegasos with molk
I think is a little problem to acces the network,from the Pegasos side have posibility to acces the other but viceversa don't.

I try also with pegxmac and mol from feisty same result.

My plan is to buy a AppleTV an stream from my Itunes librarys or sync from Pegasos,on the Mac i have synced my iPod...
