Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Morgan State University just received a total of ten ODWs just to begin an curriculum effort around altivec. The machines were sponsored by IBM. This is good news and a vector in the right direction.

It's good to be (almost) back! I got some days off to see my wife before sept 18th, where my final transfer happens. After that it's almost over and I'll be able to do -at last- some real work.
I've been trying to follow ppczone and other sites and keep up with things happening lately, and I have to say that everything seems to be moving along nicely! This is great news!
And thanks for the nice words, it feels good to know I'm still useful after all these months
