Hi and apologies for the delay. Last (or actually the previous Monday, 21/3/2005) I was invited by the AIESEC, the MorphOS team and the Polytechnic University of Czestochowa to give a speech on "Comparison of PowerPC/IA32 architectures, introduction of SIMD, Altivec and some benchmarks" in the "Information Systems Meeting" in Czestochowa, Poland.

The presentation can be found in OpenOffice and PowerPoint format at http://people.debian.org/~markos/powerp ... alysis.sxi and http://people.debian.org/~markos/powerp ... alysis.ppt respectively.

More info about the event (incl. some pictures but not my own, yet) can be found at http://aiesec.gold.pl/ism/.

Regards

Konstantinos

Konstantinos, this is a great presentation. It reminded us of this day:

If we were there we would have awarded you something as well.

We like to say a special world of thanks to the Polish MorphOS Team and the Politechnice Częstochowskiej. When we see pictures like this we know change is afoot.

Most of all thank you to Marcin 'Morgoth' Kurek. We are very grateful to Marcin who has been a dedicated PegasosPPC and MorphOS user since the beginning. Thanks Marcin!

AltiVec powered, low temperature, low energy, reliable computing. Cowabunga! A PowerPC world is coming.

Konstantinos, how about you update the presentation with the latest data and we post it here on the site for downloading?
