I just wanted to tell you, that I've successfully booted AROS from USB stick :-)

The speed of FAT partition on the stick is horrible and oscilates around 50-70 KB/s (yes, twice the speed of floppy drive), due to dozen od 512-byte transfers and debug info on console. Dunno how it behaves after "addbuffers". The speed of SFS partition is, however, fully satisfactory. The SFS works at full speed possible for USB1.1 and the transfer rates oscillate around 1.4 - 1.5MB/s.

Current state: read/write/format works, media removal works partially (it will work fully once the ID allocation for exec style device is replaced by a newer version). Boot works :-D

PS. Thanks to the mass storage bounty, I've just fixed one bug in OHCI USB driver yesterday :)
