The
EFIKA Developer Program is open again for 5 more days!
This is your final chance to get in for the current batch of approvals and systems.
We are also going to be re-reviewing EVERY project in the system. If you have a proposal that is "under review" feel free to update it and add more information.
If your project was approved and you didn't update your blog with interesting info, it maybe UNAPPROVED (put back under review) while we decide if the project is worthwile. We have a lot of projects which duplicate effort, and while a lot of people can work together (we will group you into little Collaboration Groups) some of them are just needlessly the same, or the project looks the same as another, but we can't decide who will produce the more worthwile result out of the project.
Remember, be descriptive, be intelligent, we will flat out deny any project where we do not instantly see that you are;
*) someone famous and known to do hard work (we would have a hard time denying Linus Torvalds if he posted a one-line description)
.. or ..
*) not describing your project proposal properly. 3 lines is not enough. Please use BBCode to enhance your description; links, whitepapers, examples, even competing or similar products. The better it is the better chance you have of getting a board.
Note that I have been meaning to clarify; the projects program is for a BOARD ONLY. We will provide Linux kernels and a support package, but disks and graphics cards are not part of it except in very special cases. If you think you ARE a special case, please note your requirements. For instance a clustering project requires more than one board, this we can work on with the individual project proposers.
Thank you all for your time and effort,
