Hi!

I have just successfully installed IBM Java 1.5 and NetBeans 5.5 Beta 2 on my Debian Linux Etch PPC

I really need one more thing for our Java 1.5 software project at Charles Univerisity - Java3D. It seems that there is no official Java3D for LinuxPPC but I saw some older LinuxPPC versions (1.2). We use Win x86/Linux x86 Java3D 1.4, the newest version is Java3D 1.5. It's more complicated, required is JoGL (Java bindings for OpenGL API).

Is it possible to run Java3D on LinuxPPC system? How? Thanks in advance!

Hi! I just downloaded Java3D 1.5.0 and Vecmath 1.5.0 sources via CVS and successfully compiled it in NetBeans 5.5 using IBM Java 1.5. Now I can develop our Java3D project on my Pegasos II G4 system! :-)

Great to hear Java3D 1.5 builds & works on linux-ppc :)
