Hi !
On "Open Server Workstation Developer Program - Proposed Projects" page I saw that "The projects for this program will be approved on targeted product release in June 2006".

Well we are in August now, so I just wanted to know what was the status of this then ?

my guess is that we will be told more about this after the EFIKAs have been distributed because apparently the hardware design has been finalised already. Additionally the OSWs might be manufactured before project approvals finish.

We are still taking applications and will approve them once we validate the first units to IBM. This should be ready to press ahead in September.

Genesi does not have a Sponsor for the OSW Developer Program yet and we cannot afford to do it on our own.

OK :-(
I thought Freescale was the sponsor too here...

I hope you will find one soon. This new computer deserves it :-)

The OSW is based on 970MP processors from IBM. IBM would be the logical Sponsor. We will see. We will not have a successful program without IBM's involvement. We will not activate the approvals until we have a Sponsor.

R&B :)
