What is the minimum power supply required for the smarttop? is it possible to have it USB powerd or AA battery powered.

If no answer, I will try out and let me know your suggestions to start with.

Thanks
Yonghong

Hi.

The unit consumes 5Watt on average, and requires 12V input.
These requirements make it not suited to be powered over USB, since USB can only supply 5V at 500mA.

You could use a (R/C) LiPo battery pack to power it, just like the Netbook.

Best regards,
Johan
