does anybody here know more information about PPC A2[1]? Especially its availability and eval board availability from any vendor? Well, this looks like interesting processor at least...

I did some google searches, but all I found, that it is still in development. It will be a pretty interesting chip, once available. Of course, not for Joe Average, but for those of us working with networking software and equipment :-) Until now I only found some MIPS based chips, but those are too expensive and esoteric. And of course QorIQ 64bit, but that is also still in development.
