If IBM every understood this they could downsize.... and grow!
R&B :)
Ok, i have know tested suns java embedded, its small and fast,
but it does not support things that the normal desktop java
has (e.g. JFrame and so on). It's usable for me at the moment.
Than i tested ibm java-5-ppc, and it works quiet good,
uses a bit more memory and starting time of an application
is much longer as on a desktop pc, but there are no
limitations to sun's desktop java. I have no idea
if it is really limited to 30 days of use?
Where can i find that?
I ran my own Java 2D test programm(draws some 2d stuff on the screen) and it was as fast as on my desktop pc.
Now i will test the 3D stuff of java, lets see what is
possible.

BTW During running 2D java stuff on xserver without
window manager, i looked at memory usage, there were still
30 MBytes free, thats quie good.
