I was asked to compile mythtv for openSUSE 10.3. It is now part of my Packman tree at ftp://spike.fa.gau.hu/pub/pmppc103/

A pretty detailed HOWTO about installation & configuration of mythv on openSUSE 10.3 is available at http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Opensuse_10.3 Please be aware, that many of this information is x86 specific.

Some hints:
- packages are Pegasos only (Altivec optimized)
- there is no 'one click' install, one needs to install *mythtv* (or a careful selection of these, if installed as back & frontend)
- there is no separate ivtv package on PPC, it is part of the base kernel. If one needs firmware, those are in an x86 only package, but easy to extract (rpm2cpio or mc): http://roxen.integrity.hu/pub/opensuse/ ... 7.i586.rpm
