Yesterday I spent my day with installing and testing SUSE Linux Enterprise Server on Pegasos. During the day the 'factory' tree was updated, and the missing base packages are now there. I have just arrived with a fresh copy of the factory tree. First I test, if a fresh install works, then I will test the upgrade install. I already cloned my 10.0 installation, I just need to adjust it to the new partition.

Factory seems to be a fast moving target now. Problems solved, and more severe problems introduced in just hours :-)
I'm doing my third install now in a row, but this had also some package dependency problems, as some packages are now restructured before release. There will be 5 CDs with fully OSS packages, and a 6th with the rest. For some packages it's still not decided where they really belong. The last problem I ran into was due to this, as the core of the package was moved off from the OSS CD, but the rest remained in the default package selection...
So, I would suggest either to download the CDs or wait until next week, when factory is sabilized again.
