Hello,

A friend told me about SystemRescueCd for backups purpose under linux. I just visited http://www.sysresccd.org/Main_Page . In download section there are iso for x86 and powerpc. I have downloaded the ppc iso. Then I opended it to see its contain but I do not see/understand how to boot on a cd burned from this iso. If somebody has suggestions they will be welcome.

You had better try Mupper instead which
is a rescue CD for Pegasos.
If a Pegasos is what you use?..

Hello Brumiga!

I think you should try mupper instead since afaik it is the only rescue-cd for the pegasos2. You download mupper from http://www.mupper.org and burn the iso out. After you have done that you put it in your pegasos and boot the cdrom by using this command "boot cd mupper" and it should now boot mupper.

I'm not sure that Mupper is what Brumiga is looking for (even if it's very useful).
Is there any "backup purpose" tool on Mupper ?
I have the feeling that this thread is what he's looking for : http://www.ppczone.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=826 (
Backup triple-boot system).
