Is it a Linux lack of support or a PPC lack of support problem ?
Macromedia lists an official Flash player for Linux
on their webpage (version 7 though). I haven't looked at it, but I suspect it is a binary release for x86 only (as usual, when Linux is supported by big companies).
Next to Java, Flash is a very important component for web browsing (and also for other kinds of applications). Now when Genesi has obtained official support for XGI graphic cards (meaning official and optimized gfx drivers for the first time), maybe a new challange would be to convince Adobe/Macromedia to do a PPC binary release of the latest flash player?
