I am having problems with poor HMDI compatibility on the Smarttop. I have tried 3 Large Screen TV's and 2 Monitors and only 1 Monitor will work with the Efika's HDMI.

I also have a Trimslice, it's an early dev kit surrounded in perspex but happily works with them all so please don't blame my equipment.

Is there any way to manually override to a suitable mode?

Is there fix in the pipeline or is this just a limitation of the current hardware?

Did you try the Android demo? It gets a picture going to my Sony TV, but Efika's own Ubuntu does not. IMO, the software is broken.

Yes, the TV switched into 720p and it appeared to show a distorted boot screen.

I'm wanting to use 1366x768 vs the 1280x720 that it defaults to. I have a 26" VISIO with native 1366x768, but I didn't even see it listed in the logs. Here is what I get in my logs which the closest is 1360x768:
