Thought it might be interesting to start a thread of USB devices that work the MX series.

- Loaded the Arduino software and could compile and download programs to a USB Arduino Duemilanove card.

- USB 3-1/2 Floppy drive Model G54-8016 always nice to know what is on those old floppy disks.

Cheers Carl

Personally, I use a 320GB Seagate usb disk, Logitech G13, Razer Orochi (both bluetooth and via usb), Razer Lachesis, Razer Mamba (wireless and usb), Seagate 1TB drive, ClearSpot ( http://www.clear.com/devices/details/id/64 ) (recongized as a cdc_ethernet device), and various other usb flash drives.

It is not really prudent to list devices that DO work: the vast majority of USB devices that will work in Linux will work on the Efika MX.

Check those that operate fine on a 2.6.31 kernel and you will find we provided the most useful ones (there are some geeky ones we didn't, like old Lego Mindstorms, but the new ones are Bluetooth and will work fine)

What would be better is a list of devices which don't work, either because it needs a kernel recompile to provide the device (and maybe we can schedule it into the next release) or if Linux plain doesn't support it, but I suspect it will end up being a list of "devices Linux doesn't work with" which is NOT platform specific.

None of my two USB 2.5' HDDs are recognized by Efika MX Smarttop :( HDD appears in the disk utility list for a few seconds and disconnects. Both disks are Western Digital Scorpio Blue 250GB, but one is with Transcend SATA-USB controller, other - with AgeStar.
I'm very dissapointed I cant connect any storage, please help me. On my Acer Aspire 3810T both disks work fine. Dmesg says, 'reset high speed USB device using fsl-ehci'
