 Post subject: Scrolling

Perhaps I'm missing something obvious:

Can the touchpad scroll? Either edge-strip or two-finger scrolling (if it can do MT).

In hardware, it can, via the controller chip that makes it look like a USB device, you are stuck with relative mouse movement and two buttons ("Boot Protocol").

Unfortunately we didn't write the software for the controller, and it's OTP so once flashed at the factory, it can't be updated. Next revision: connected directly via i2c or PS/2 to the i.MX53 instead.

I see. So no way to get trackpad scrolling on the current efikas. Thanks.

Bummer. I thought it was a simple driver thing that would be updated at some point.
