I need to have some packages running in Efika MX, that are not in the repository, like Firefox4 , Scribus development version, qemu, etc...

I have spent some hours trying to doing that... for different reason was not possible to do that for me.

So in general I try to download the single packages produced for the next Ubuntu version, but I don't find for the ARM arch the single packages like for x86 and powerpc arch.

Over that I'm impatient to see Natty (Ubuntu 11.04) packages, that must be compiled with Open GL ES, running on my Efika Mx.

It's possible to install Natty on Efika MX?

And you will have natty on your efika. Things which you will miss will be limited to imx X.org driver - rest of things will be available.

I am running natty on my efikasb.

Note that while this works we do NOT support this configuration as during development package repositories get into weird states, development progresses and things break more often than they work.

Right now there's a bug where GNOME Settings crashes because PulseAudio is dying. Unity3D falls back to 2D (i.e. Compiz knows how to not use the GPU), but Unity2D is slow as anything.

I really would not recommend updating to Natty until it's released: at that point we will be pushing a new image for everyone that we have tested and validated.

Try not to be too bleeding edge. Alpha 1, 2 and 3 did not install on any of my x86 machines at all (32-bit, 64-bit, VMs, nothing worked) and when it did the performance and expected features were not so friendly. It is plainly obvious this is only halfway developed and you should wait for April 28th for the real thing before you dist-upgrade if you consider your OS install important.
