I know I ordered before the date where we'd get a current gen Efika MX, and I just found out a friend who ordered after me got the current model from that, said he got an e-mail about it.. I didn't get that e-mail, so I was wondering what was going on there? Is it still possible for me to get the current generation model?

my understanding was that the only people who automatically received a hw upgrade were the very early 'naked' devkit efikaMX users, who were upgraded to the TO2 rev board (from the open client) that was in production until recently, when it was superseded by the TO3 rev. the only users who got that last one 'pro bono' were the devs from the most recent round of approved projects.
