Hello,

Anyone managed to work with IrDA port ? I am wondering what hardware should I plug on the port to enable it.

Any advice ?

I think you'll be lucky to find a prebuilt one these days, most IrDA dongles for the PC are USB these days.

You will also need to configure the port in firmware, set up an irda device tree node, and make sure a Linux driver knows how to drive it. The hardware really is the EASIEST part for you..
