I read on the dutch tweakers site that an hp business pc got an gold apeat rating for being environmental friendly. That makes me wonder on the efika, would it be able to get gold also?

Aaaaaahhhh.... Matt, straight to the bad words :-)

I think the question was whether the Efika complies with the requirements.

Cheers

All I'm prepared to say is that we conform to the RoHS directives as regards to hazardous materials, disposal, and we have reasonably low power consumption.

Anything else would be alluding to a certification we don't have; you can read the website yourself and work out if we comply or not.

Do you have a SPECIFIC requirement you want to know if we handle correctly?

I consider the efika to be envirionmental friendly (price has nothig to do with it for me). It could be good way for promoting the efika if it is gold epeat capeable. And costing less the other gold capeable products with $99 for the efika i consider it cheap.

PS i assumed that one goal for the efika was to be envirionmetal friendly (low power consumption/ rohs complaint).

It is. It is a good idea. When we get over the next financial hump we will investigate the situation. Thanks for vectoring us into the opportunity.
