We want to bring some attention to this project and this hard working Project Leader, Geoffrey Charra. Geoffrey is a long-time PegasosPPC/EFIKA user and Manager of the Pegasos and EFIKA Book Projects. Please have a look at EFIKA Project #163 - The EFIKA Book.

Geoffrey's motivation and management has earned him a monthly stipend. It might not be a lot, but it is regular. Plus, we support Geoffrey now with the hardware he needs to get the job done. Keep up the good work Geoffrey and best regards and compliments to all the EFIKA Book Team.

Great Work!

R&B :)

i'm a long time supporter (and occasional contributor) of the Efika/Pegasos books and always impressed by Geoffrey's devotion to our platform.
Big up !

Just wanted to say thanks! I'm just coming up to speed on the EFIKA, don't even have the hardware yet, and the EFIKA book was a great resource, particularly on the PSU & Graphics Cards - I was able to just pass of the book to our tech and say "buy me one of these" - much easier than searching for all the posts for card specs.

@bbrv : about that, do you think that you could send me one of your Efika cases to replace my big 450W PSU and paperbox case ? That would be nice because it would make it a lot more portable for tests :-)

@all : what kind of new chapter would you like to see into the next Efika book ?

as long as i'm not aware of that ...
I want one these cases too for my Efika but not willing to pay more than 150 euros (the case is not that expensive but taxes and transport makes it pricey) for a case + PSU that i already have.

The money is still not falling off the trees here yet Geoffrey. We will keep you posted. When we can send you out a case, we will. In the meanwhile, keep up the good work!

;-)

My Efika falled down my desk several time because of the current 450W PSU heaviness (and my cat's clumsyness), so a real case would be really welcome before I break it definitively :-)
I wanted to do my own but did not find a way to make a cheap hand-made one. I really find the picoPSU alone very expensive :-(

SSQ: Did you finally made a case by yourself ? And about your PSU, maybe you can sell it to someone else (ebay, AI, PPCZone?) once you get a new case ? Anyway, I agree with you that a case alone is a bit expensive with tax+transport for us, Europeans :-(
I know RELEC/PegSuisse is also preparing one...

I will start doing one by myself soon, but of course it won't look as professional as the one from Blastwave.
I will certainly not sell my PicoPSU but use it instead in the case i'll build.
I hope Relec will succeed :)
