Hello,

I installed rtorrent on the Efika and all the files stop before completion with this message:
Quote:
Hash check on download completion found bad chunks, consider using "safe_sync".
I'm using kernel 2.6.19-rc6-g9468d500-dirty and rTorrent 0.6.4 - libTorrent 0.10.4 (these are the latest versions in Debian repository....)

I found that this also happen with recent versions of rtorrent:

I also read that this may affect only powerpc architecture?
http://www.uwsg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/ ... /0220.html

What I do is stop rtorrent and start it again. Then it keeps checking the hash again and again, and a bit of progress is done after each check...

Anyone experienced this?

seems like a kernel bug according to comment #20 in that upstream bug.
